Dance Dance Revolution (known in Europe as Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 4) is a music video game for the Dance Dance Revolution series by Konami. It was released on November 16, 2010 for the Nintendo Wii in the United States and Canada.[1] Dance Dance Revolution will give the DDR franchise on the Wii an extensive graphical overhaul[2] and add Wii MotionPlus support in addition to the classic dance pad and support for other Wii input methods such as the Wii Balance Board.[3]

Dance Dance Revolution will feature an all-new Choreography mode which uses the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk. In which you follow the on screen graphics to move the controllers in a certain way.
Standard two-player multiplayer will return with the use of dance pads and choreography mode, which focuses on motion sensor input, and will support up to four players.[3]
Character models will be significantly improved. Modeled more after the adult-sized characters in the main Dance Dance Revolution series instead of the childlike or distorted style seen in previous Wii DDR games. Rena, Dyna, Bridget, jun, NAOKI, U1, U.G., Ceja, Chordia, Root, Bossa, Nova, Hip, and Hop are the characters that have been confirmed through imagery to make an updated appearance in Dance Dance Revolution.
